Occasional Services, Review Editions and Testing Program 1980-1981.

These are records collected by Ralph Van Loon during his work with the Task Force on Occasional Services. These files specifically deal with the final reviews and tests of the occasional service rites submitted to the TFOS. The Occasional Services Study Manuscript, Volumes I-III, contains the same manuscripts as in TFOS 2, Records. However, they have been edited by different people and are therefore kept separate. Proposals for Review and Study by the Participating Churches are the same as TFOS 2, Records, Manuscript Committee, A-C. Report of the Worship Coordinator is from Ralph Van Loon, Coordinator for Worship of the LCA. Response to Participating Churches on Recommendations and Affirmations of Occasional Services is a report of the TFOS Manuscript Committee. Testing and Review of Proposed Occasional Services is a report of the TFOS, published by the Division for Parish Services of the Lutheran Church in America (LCA).
